Rotation 72º, installation 2013

A 90 degree corner is connected by white strings. The perpendicular walls have rhombuses painted in a variety of grey shades which have been freed of a grid system . The strings connect to the corresponding rhombus on each wall, twisting each form in space at a 72 degree rotation. There is a set of six picture frames that serve as a key for the grid system which creates the pattern of rhombuses on the walls. In the opposite corner a similar tessellation of digital grey rhombuses are projected instead of painted onto large mylar forms diffracting a web like pattern of light back onto the opposite corner with the connecting strings. A fan made the mylar move which in turn made the projected forms on the opposite wall dance.
